Join Institute Of Vedic Astrology to Understanding Nakshatra in Vedic Astrology

In this modern world, Vedic astrology is the modern name given to the old name of astrology that was 'Jyotish' in the sanskrit language. The word 'Jyoti' refers to light and the word 'isha or Ish' refer to the lord. Therefore, the word 'Jyotish' means the light of the lord. It is one of the earliest forms of astrology and this has not changed over those 5000 years.

According to the Institute of Vedic Astrology, Vedic astrology is one of the most diverse and extensive things of all. In addition to this, Vedic astrology also covers each and every phase of human nature or existence and also gives the most accurate results. Vedic astrology includes each and every phase of human existence such as psychology, healing, religion, predictions of future, spirituality and many more. Moreover, it is also defined as the process of self realization, self knowledge, self confidence and self healing. These are done with the help of yoga, Ayurveda and Vedanta. These things provide one with better understanding of the laws of karma.

Institute of Vedic Astrology believes that in the Vedic astrology, people believe that there are 12 star signs but this is their false belief. In fact, there are 27 constellations or star signs that are useful in having a better knowledge of celestial influences on our planet. For your knowledge, these 27 constellations are referred to as 27 Nakshatras. These Nakshatras are away from the earth for almost 300 to 400 light years. A Jyotish Shastra tells a person about his or her future and also powerful ways and that varies according to one's time of birth. The term ‘Naksha’ means a map and the word ‘tara’ means stars. Therefore, Nakshatra means star map. The ancient people used moon for calculating time and then connecting to the stars. As you would be aware of the fact that moon resides in each of the constellations for one day, therefore, Nakshatra is the name given to the constellations.

Institute of Vedic Astrology believes that the Nakshatras are differentiated according to the various ways as in to the basic attribute, motivation, sex, caste, religion and many more. Some of them are:

·         Kama: Sensual desires
·         Artha: Material desires
·         Dharma: living life based on spiritual principles
·         Moksha: relief from birth and death.
